Aubrey's 2nd Birthday Party...

After a very large and planning intensive first birthday party at our house, we decided to have a low key second birthday party for Aubrey. We still had a lot of people, but this year we decided to rent out a portion of our favorite park. We had her party a week after her actual birthday at the new Arlington Sports Park which comes complete with a large shade shelter, a park for little kids, a park for big kids, a whole spray portion where kids can get wet and lots of grass. We had the party in the late afternoon so the weather was perfect, we ordered pizza, had some kids snacks and drinks, played yard games, did a craft and played in the water. My little addition was the candy bar instead of having a piƱata (since that is a tradition at all American birthday parties LOL). I recreated most of my ideas (and Jessica’s) from Jehn’s baby shower and Jessica even let me borrow all of the mason jars for the candy bar (we still need to get together so I can return them)! I was blessed by all the friends and family who came out to celebrate with us and all the help we got with set up and tear down. Our amazing friends and family surprise us with their goodness more and more each day!
